This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Mary Immaculate of Lourdes (MIOL) Web site. On some pages, you can make donations and register as a new parishioner, individually or as a family, and/or receive email news. The types of personal information MIOL collects at these pages are:

We use the information you provide about yourself when requesting information and/or signing up for our email news alerts and/or as a new parishioner only to complete your request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that request.

We use email addresses to answer the requests/emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our Web site if you would like to receive the update information on our Web site. The information you submit on our Web site will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out our Contact Us form.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and obtain statistics regarding the number of visitors to our Web site. For example, we will be able to track that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our Web site, or that Y number individuals filled out our contact form.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

About Our Parish

Mary Immaculate of Lourdes is Newton and Needham Massachusetts's oldest Roman Catholic Parish. Founded as Saint Mary's Parish in 1870 it was renamed "Mary Immaculate of Lourdes" when the new Church was dedicated on Thanksgiving Day, 1910. In addition to being a regular territorial parish of the Archdiocese of Boston it is also a "Mission Parish" since 2007 with a special apostolate for the Traditional Latin Mass (1962 Missal).
