MERRY TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

The Twelve Days of Christmas refer to the feast days between the Birth of the Christ Child on the 25th of December and the Eve of the Magi Kings’ arrival on January 6th (January 5th is “Twelfth Night”). How wonderful to make use of these days as Christmas Days, just when the secular/commercial “Holidays” are over. Fr. LeBlanc and I send our Christmas greetings and our priestly blessings to all of our parish households.

About Our Parish

Mary Immaculate of Lourdes is Newton and Needham Massachusetts's oldest Roman Catholic Parish. Founded as Saint Mary's Parish in 1870 it was renamed "Mary Immaculate of Lourdes" when the new Church was dedicated on Thanksgiving Day, 1910. In addition to being a regular territorial parish of the Archdiocese of Boston it is also a "Mission Parish" since 2007 with a special apostolate for the Traditional Latin Mass (1962 Missal).
